BOOKDADDY.AI, THE ULTIMATE SCAM
I rarely write reviews, but after my experience with BookDaddy.ai, I feel a responsibility to warn others: this company is a complete scam. What they present as a professional, AI-powered publishing service is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Dishonesty, incompetence, and broken promises define every step of their process.
First, their design work is appallingly bad—amateurish layouts, low-resolution graphics, and a total lack of creative cohesion. The product looked nothing like the sleek samples they use to lure in new clients. It felt like they outsourced it to a high school intern with no aesthetic sense and even less pride in their work.
Second, they do not deliver what they promise. They guaranteed a finished product within a certain timeframe – a complete fabrication. Missed deadlines became the norm, followed by excuse after excuse. And when I raised concerns, I was met with evasion, deflection, and gaslighting. Emails and text messages went unanswered, timelines shifted dramatically with no accountability, and their so-called “support team” was either nonexistent or deliberately unhelpful.
Most importantly, this company is dishonest to the core. They offer guarantees they never intend to keep, upsell you at every corner with vague “enhancements,” and then disappear once they’ve attempted to squeezed as much money from you as possible. It’s a ripoff, plain and simple—a textbook bait-and-switch operation.
If you're considering using BookDaddy.ai, don’t do it. There are better, more transparent, and far more competent professionals out there. BookDaddy.ai is a toxic combination of false promises, sloppy execution, and total unaccountability. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. Run in the other direction.
